1. Definitions
1.1 “ClarityOne Styling”, “we”, “our”, “us” refers to ClarityOne Styling, its directors,
employees and contractors.
1.2 “Client”, “you”, “your” refers to the person or entity engaging ClarityOne Styling for
property styling services.
1.3 “Hire Items” refers to all furniture, décor, accessories, artwork, soft furnishings,
greenery, or any other items supplied by ClarityOne Styling.
1.4 “Property” refers to the site, building, or location where the Hire Items are installed.
2. Hire Period
2.1 A standard hire period is six (6) weeks from the installation date.
2.2 If the Client requires the Hire Items for longer than six (6) weeks, additional hire fees of
$300 + GST per week (or part thereof) will be charged automatically until the hire ends.
2.3 Extensions must be confirmed in writing, but ClarityOne Styling reserves the right to
continue charging weekly extension fees until all Hire Items are collected.
3. Ownership of Hire Items
3.1 All Hire Items remain the sole property of ClarityOne Styling at all times.
3.2 The Client obtains no ownership, interest, or rights in the Hire Items other than a
temporary licence to use them for the hire period.
3.3 Hire Items must not be moved, relocated, altered, loaned, borrowed, stored offsite, or
used for any purpose other than property styling unless ClarityOne Styling gives prior
written consent.
3.4 The Client must ensure that no third party interferes with, uses, or relocates the Hire
Items.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 The Client is fully responsible for the security, safekeeping, and condition of all Hire
Items from delivery until collection.
4.2 The Client must ensure the Property is secure, weather-tight, locked, and protected at all
times.
4.3 The Client must notify ClarityOne Styling immediately of any damage, loss, theft, or
issues relating to the Hire Items or Property access.
4.4 The Client is responsible for ensuring safe and clear access for delivery, installation, and
collection.
5. Damage, Loss & Cleaning Fees
5.1 The Client accepts full financial responsibility for any loss, theft, breakage, staining,
damage, or deterioration of Hire Items while out on hire.
5.2 Damaged or lost items will be charged at full replacement value plus sourcing, freight,
handling, administration, and downtime.
5.3 Cleaning beyond normal wear incurs a minimum fee of $150 + GST.
5.4 ClarityOne Styling’s assessment of replacement, repair, or cleaning cost is final.
6. Access & Collection
6.1 The Client must provide full and unobstructed access to the Property on the agreed
collection date.
6.2 A failed-collection fee of $250 + GST will apply if access is restricted or delayed.
Additional weekly hire fees will continue to accrue.
7. Cancellations & Postponements
7.1 Cancellation within 7 days of installation incurs a fee of 50% of the total styling cost.
7.2 Cancellation within 48 hours of installation incurs a fee of 100% of the styling cost.
8. Liability
8.1 ClarityOne Styling accepts no liability for damage caused by existing property defects,
movement of heavy items, or indirect losses including marketing delays or lost sales.
8.2 Liability is limited to the amount paid for the styling service as permitted under
Australian Consumer Law.
9. Payment Terms
9.1 Full payment is required prior to installation.
9.2 Additional charges (extension fees, damages, cleaning, replacement costs) are due
within 7 days of invoice.
9.3 Debt recovery costs are payable by the Client if applicable.
10. Photography & Marketing Rights
10.1 ClarityOne Styling may photograph styled spaces and use images for marketing and
promotional purposes.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
11.2 Disputes are to be resolved exclusively in Victorian courts or tribunals.
